Full Moon Song Circle

  • 50 Louisiana Avenue Asheville, NC, 28806 United States (map)

Something special happens when we come together to sing. It is an ancient remembering of our communities gathering around the fire, joining in one song, the repetition bringing us deeper into presence, transcending time and space. We lift our voices in joy, grief, and praise, and find that when we tune our voices together we tune into something bigger than ourselves. These songs remind us of our unique humanness, as well as our connection to all life- our belonging to the world. These are songs for everyone, regardless of singing experience.

Join us as we gather to sing songs to honor this Virgo full moon. Lillie Lumina will guide the group in a variety of songs on the themes of letting go to make space for the new, cycles of nature, community collaboration, and universal love. You are also more than welcome to bring songs to teach the group! These circles take on a beautiful life of their own when we are all sharing together.

Please bring blankets, cushions chairs, and anything else you need to feel comfortable sitting on the floor.

Suggested donation: $10-30

*or what you feel able to pay- no one turned away for lack of funds- seriously, your presence is more valuable than $
