Sacred Song Ceremony a practice of remembering that each of us has an avenue directly to the heart through the voice.

We lift our voices in joy, grief, honor, and praise, and find that when we tune our voices together we create the opportunity to tune into something bigger than ourselves. It is not about performing or being a “good singer,” but rather cultivating deep listening and presence. These songs remind us of our unique humanness, as well as our interconnectedness to all life- our belonging to the world.

We hold the container with intentionality and prayer, attuning to the energies of the moment. We offer cacao at the start of the circle and work with different herbs to help clear, cleanse, and uplift the space. We draw from a wide range of practices, including Vocal DeArmoring, Kirtan, Community Song Leading, Toning, Sound Healing, Music Therapy, and Sufi Chanting. In humble devotion and service, we allow the Spirit of Music guide the experience.

In order to allow us to really drop into the space together, this will be a closed container experience. Please arrive on time! Late-comers will not be permitted past 6:45.
